Licensing Requirement (Job Contingent)

This position is contingent upon obtaining required insurance licenses.

• Property & Casualty license must be obtained prior to your Day 1 start (full agency support provided)
• Life & Health license must be obtained within 60 days of your start date
• We provide guidance, study support, and resources to help you successfully complete the licensing process

Role Overview

As an Account Manager, your primary focus is driving new business, growing existing accounts, and contributing to overall agency production goals. You will work with both prospective and current customers, conduct needs-based conversations, identify coverage opportunities, and confidently close business.

Success in this role is measured by production, relationship development, and contribution to agency growth.

Responsibilities

Generate new business through proactive outreach, referrals, follow-up, and relationship development

Quote, present, and close auto, home, renters, life, and other insurance products

Conduct policy reviews to identify coverage gaps and cross-sell opportunities

Build and maintain strong customer relationships to support retention and referrals

Confidently lead sales conversations with both warm and prospective customers

Handle customer questions and account needs while maintaining a strong customer experience

Track sales activity, pipeline progress, and follow-up consistently

Collaborate with team members to achieve individual and office production goals

Ensure compliance with agency standards and regulatory requirements

Qualifications

Sales-driven mindset with a strong desire to meet and exceed goals

Proven ability or strong desire to hit sales targets

Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

Confidence in closing business and asking for the sale

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities

Positive, professional, and team-oriented attitude

Prior insurance sales, account management, or customer-facing sales experience preferred

Leadership mindset and strong follow-through

Ability to meet licensing requirements outlined above
